We are exceptionally proud to be an Active School and we attempt to integrate physical activity into as many curriuclum subjects as possible. We recently organised an "Outragous Orienteering Trail" around the village of Adare to celebrate Maths Week. Many of our parents kindly volunteered to join groups equipped with iPads and iPod Touches. They ran the length and breadth of the village for almost two hours finding clues, scanning codes and working out Maths and History questions. It was fantastic fun and exercise and a great way to integrate ICT, P.E., History and Maths!!
