6th Class News
Dia daoibh.
First of all, we would like to welcome you to the 6th class page. We would like to congratulate Katie, Úna, Jessica and Amy on their wonderful win. They came FIRST out of 68 teams at the National Parents Council Quiz. Great work girls!!! They will go on to represent Limerick in Munster. Good Luck!

We would also like to congratulate the whole school in participating in Active Schools Week. We came first in Munster AGAIN!!!! The week included gymnastics, hip hop, athletics, scavenger hunts, rock climbing, orienteering and archery to name a few. We would like to thank all the teachers for organising that week and we can't wait to collect our €4,000 prize money!!

This year we planted lots of things in our school garden including garlic, carrots, potatoes, parsnips and red and white onions. Joe, our fantastic gardener, helped us and also put up beautiful bird boxes around the school to help the birds build nests.

We would like to congratulate Caoimhe and Ciara who will be representing our school in the West Limerick Camogie Team!!! An-mhaith a chailíní. This year we are entering the West 10 a side camogie league and we hope to make our school proud!!

Faoi dheireadh, the whole school had an exciting day raising money doing a Sportathon. We cycled, skipped, hula hooped, danced and scored basketball hoops. A fantastic and energetic day was had by all.
