5th Class News

Welcome the the 5th Class webpage. We are kept busy learning all our new Irish, Maths and English. We recently learned about the Digestive System in Science and took part in an excellent History Trail to the Trinitarian Abbey. We were amazed to learn about all about the history of one of the many ancient buildings in Adare!

We have done fabulous art so far recreating Andy Warhol prints and making ourselves into crayons!! We have written poems and learned about the physical geography of Ireland.

We take a break every so often and relax on our beanbags, make some tangrams or make our class jigsaw!

We are also kept going outside with Street Handball leagues and acting as Play Leaders to the younger girls in the school. We are working away in the garden harvesting our vegetables and taking home our crops. Our potatoes weren't very successful this year but everything else is delicious! See you again soon!
